Pecorino Romano is a hard cheese, cooked, made with fresh whole sheep’s milk, derived exclusively from farms in the area of production in Sardinia and Lazio. Grated Pecorino Romano P.D.O. cheese has a minimum seasoning period of 8 months.
Thanks to its intense and slightly salty taste, it is perfect as a dressing for traditional pasta such Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe.
